The NATIV collection, which was designed by Raphael Navot for Roche Bobois, focuses on natural lines and organic shapes. The goal was to create a dialogue between nature and culture. The pieces of this collection highlight geometric craftmanship and luxurious materials.
This Scandinavian-style armchair seems to be balancing on only its two front legs, but it is also supported by the back like a tripod.

Upholstered in fabric. Seat cushion in HR bi-density foam 30-35kg/m3. Back cushion in HR tri-density foam 30-35-75kg/m3. Structure in solid fir wood and pine plywood. Cross-webbing XL elastic straps suspension. Base in solid walnut with natural varnish finish.

Multidisciplinary, Raphael Navot identifies himself as a non-industrial designer. A graduate from Design Academy Eindhoven, he likes to combine artisanal know-how with contemporary methods, whether in his interior architecture projects or in his custom furniture orders. In Paris, Raphael Navot has produced the Club Silencio in collaboration with David Lynch, and the Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers. For Roche Bobois he has imagined the NATIV collection with natural and organic lines: a dialog between culture and nature combined with the mastery of geometry and spontaneous shapes, it is manufactured by hand with noble materials.
