About Roche Bobois
January 2016
The film was shot at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France. This historical monument, which was built upon the orders of Napoleon I in 1807, was the headquarters of the Paris stock exchange until 1998.
Roche Bobois chose this location due to its architecture and its interior arcades, which are similar to those of rue de Rivoli, opposite the Louvre.
The Palace’s impressive floor space, which is over 1000m², gave us ample space to build the "pool" made out of nearly 200 Mah Jong cushions, covered in fabrics by Missoni Home.
For some of the shots, special cameras had to be set up under the glass roof of the nave, 28 metres above the ground.
