Every year Roche Bobois participates in numerous artistic events by providing its support for cultural institutions such as (The Musee d’Orsay, The Guggenheim Museum in New York, Palais de Tokyo…), as well as international events including Art Basel Miami, Fotofever or even Paris Photo. Roche Bobois also regularly invites artists to their showrooms around the world to initiate dialogues between contemporary art and design.

Roche Bobois invited the plastic visual artist, Bruno Fontana for a architecture themed photography exhibition at the Avenue du Maine showroom in Paris until January 22, 2022. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Mah Jong, the artist proposes a personal reinterpretation of this iconic sofa to be discovered during this exhibition.

Bruno Fontana developed an interest in photography and architecture very early on and regards his perspective as self-taught. His work revolves around the representation of urban environments, landscapes, heritage, memory and our relationship to land.
