To celebrate the 2018 Milan International Furniture Fair, Roche Bobois is participating in two new exhibitions at the Salone in Rho Fiera and the Fuorisalone in the Brera design district.
Roche Bobois unveils a preview of the Globe Trotter Collection, designed by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, at 31 via Solferino, Brera.
Pieces from the Globe Trotter collection are being showcased at the stand, including a monumental composition of four Dojo bookcases, and a theatrical chandelier composed of a collection of Mariposa suspensions.
Simultaneously, Roche Bobois presents a selection of its next collection:
Libretto, by Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi, is a seating collection on platforms: the leather wrapped borders extend the horizontal silhouette to create an integrated side table. It combines the system from the Libretto wall compositions, with its metal frame and two perpendicular "shoulder straps", to make it a truly eye-catching piece. The grooved wood, brass and wiped patina finish creates a sophisticated look.
The Aqua dining table, designed by Fabrice Berrux, features a bulbous and monolithic base in black Marquina marble that perfectly supports a large oval top.
The Chimère Bridge is a new example of Simon Reynaud’s meticulous craft of precise work with solid wood: he playfully combines oak and perforated leather around the flexible lines of a tubular structure.
