POLYGONIA
sideboard

W. 262.1 x H. 69.5 x D. 81.4 cm

Designed by Giacomo Garziano

In 2017, Roche Bobois explored new territory in the fields of art, design and mathematics by creating the Zephyrus. Giacomo Garziano (GG-Loop) was inspired by the Amazonian butterfly Zephyrus Polygonia when designing this sculptural piece of furniture that was offered as a limited edition with only 55 pieces, all sold within one year.
In 2022, Roche Bobois is expanding the family with Polygonia, the little brother of the Zephyrus. Passing down the original characteristics, it features 4 intriguing polyhedral volumes that intersect and intertwine.
Boldly opening with two butterfly wings on the top and two hinged doors on the bottom, this sculptural storage unit is now available beyond the limited edition and in 200 metallic colors. As iconic as its big brother, Polygonia demonstrates Roche Bobois' ability to produce truly exceptional pieces.
