CRISTIAN MOHADED

Cristián Mohaded

Born in rural Argentina in the 1980s, Cristián Mohaded graduated from the National University of Córdoba and today works as an industrial designer, interior designer, and artistic director. Based in Buenos Aires, he founded his own studio and has since become a leading figure in contemporary Argentine design, earning numerous distinctions. In 2013, the Twist #2 chair — co‑signed with Ricardo Blanco — entered the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Named “Young American Talent” by Maison & Objet Americas in 2015, he also participated in the 2018 Salone Satellite in Milan, selected by the Campana brothers. For Mohaded, every project begins with a dialogue with the material, which guides the form. For Roche Bobois, he has created several pieces, including the Wander, Taz, and Half & Half lighting collections, as well as the Agrafe and Ombrelle furniture lines.
