A former noble palace dating from the 15th century, the Palazzo Bianca Cappello is still a private residence today. A well-known address for Florentines, close to Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, it was built upon the request of François I de Medici for his second wife, Bianca Capello.
The current owners, the Roschi and Pelacani families, decided to dedicate a floor of this exclusive location and turn it into a boutique hotel. They entrusted Roche Bobois with the design and furnishing of all four suites. No suite is alike, each offering a unique atmosphere. Three different beds are featured as the focal design element of each suite, - Hortense, Paris Paname and Backstage – complemented by bold contemporary furniture pieces, such as the Astragale sideboard, the Evol cocktail table or the Bijou pedestal table, achieving a perfect balance between traditional and modernity.
