Design Jean NOUVEL

Jean Nouvel defines himself not as a designer, but “as an architect who also designs”. This approach is evident in this new collection that is based on the essence of shapes: Jean Nouvel focused on circles, a symbol of pruity, to create the LI-DA round table and the LI-DO totem-column for Roche Bobois. These two designs are mysterious yet simple, with forms that sculpt and reflect the space that surrounds them.

Jean NOUVEL

Internationally renowned French architect Jean NOUVEL has earned some of the most prestigious awards, including the Pritzker Prize in 2008. He does not identify himself as a designer, but as “an architect who also designs.” His collection was inspired by the essence of form. He designed a lacquered table and buffet-column for Roche Bobois using circles as a symbol of purity. These creations are mystifying yet obvious, with forms that sculpt and reflect their surroundings. This exceptional collaboration exemplifies the close connection between architecture and interior design.
