A travers ses créations, le designer Erwan Péron souhaite avant tout « donner du sens et créer de l’émotion ». Diplômé de l’Ecole de Design de Nantes mais ayant grandi en Afrique centrale, la nature est une véritable source d’inspiration pour lui. Points de départ de sa collaboration avec Roche Bobois, la table basse et le buffet Hélis sont réalisés en 2015, suivis du vaisselier NAT, dont la façade joue sur le principe d’une marqueterie de pièces de bois décalées en profondeur. En 2016, il invente un nouveau type de surface avec un aspect irrégulier : une texture poétique qui évoque pour certains du papier froissé, pour d’autres un paysage enneigé, ou plein d’autres choses...
