Joana Vasconcelos

A Portuguese artist and designer, Joana Vasconcelos lives and works in Lisbon. Her work has been exhibited in leading museums around the world, and she is the youngest and first female artist to have her art featured at the Palace of Versailles. Joana Vasconcelos has mastered the art of transforming everyday objects, with an innate sense of extravagance and a freedom all her own. In collaboration with Roche Bobois, she embraced the challenge of designing furniture for the wider public, resulting in the vibrant Bombom collection - a series of multi-functional pieces that exude playfulness, delectable aesthetics and boundless optimism.
