The YUMI rug's structure of superimposed circles suggests a body of water sculpted by the waves of sparse rain. The interior is punctuated by a tangle of abstract shapes, reflections of the surrounding nature, and Seigaiha motifs, which in the Japanese imagination illustrate the waves and the infinity of the ocean.
