The sideboard is supported by a metal base that resembles a bolt of lightning and features two coplanar doors (meaning that each door can slide in front of the other), with the opening blended into the engraved decor.

A number of his designs, including the Brooklyn sideboard, the Vanity bedroom and Arbalete collection have become Roche Bobois classics. Gorgoni is driven by curiosity into new materials, new technologies and new configurations that "create the perfect harmony between function, form and structure".
