The shapes of the TURBINE lamps were inspired by mechanical parts. The many oak pieces surrounding the structure creates warmth and depth. After graduating from ENSCI/Les Ateliers, Renaud Thiry began his career by producing his own designs. He then undertook work with furniture and home accessories retailers in France and abroad. Thiry has also collaborated on research projects with national institutions (V.I.A., DAP - the Plastic Arts Delegation, CNAP - the National Centre of Plastic Arts and the French Ministry of Culture and Communication). His designs focus on the simplicity of form and function.
